Yakuza, also known as Ryu ga Gotoku, is a series created by Toshihiro Nagoshi and SEGA, beginning in 2005 with Yakuza, and ending series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu's journey with Yakuza 6 in 2016. Yakuza: Like a Dragon stars a new series protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, who debuted in Ryu ga Gotoku Online.Several spin-offs to the series include Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin! and Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan A loan shark apparently borrowed money from different Yakuza families, but haven't paid a yen back yet. It's no small sum either: 200 million yen, and Kazuma (and his buddy) will get half. It's I started with the original PS2 games and the fighting gameplay is a bit clunky in yakuza 1 but yakuza 2 was one of the best with the way you could endlessly combo off in multiple directions. I was disappointed with yakuza 3 combat because he couldn't do that any more, just a single kick or punch, a pause and start new combo. Gameplay was broken (like any other PS3 Yakuza game but at least other were built around the system, Kiwami is an attempt to make a different gameplay fit in a new scheme) Story additions were cheesy and terribly wrong, they just broke the atmosphere and did not fit.
